AUTO MECHANICS
 This is a program which prepares students to enter occupations and/or pursue postsecondary education in automotive mechanics.  Students will learn orientation and safety; tools, technical references, measurement, and fasteners; basic automotive service; brakes; and basic electrical service.

AUTO BODY REPAIR
 This is a program that orients an individual to the field of automotive body repair.  Students will learn introduction and safety; basic tool usage and safety; body and frame construction components; principles of welding; basic sheet metal repair; and preparing for finishing.

TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS
 This is a program designed for students who may be interested in a career in the technical field.  It is intended to expand the student's knowledge of technology and to allow students to apply skills used for solving problems in a technological society.  Students can explore the latest technology that is available in education today.  Students can continue their education at a 2-year technical college or a 4-year university.  Students can earn one science credit toward graduation requirements.

Text Box: RESIDENTIAL CARPENTRY
 This is an instructional program that prepares individuals to lay out, fabricate, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures, using hand and power tools.  Students will learn introduction and orientation; basic safety; basic math; hand and power tools and equipment; introduction to blueprints; materials used in carpentry; and basic rigging.

ALLIED HEALTH 
 Allied Health is a program that introduces students to health careers, the basic health sciences, and basic health career skills. Students will learn basic health care skills, legal and ethical heath issues, medical terminology, body systems, and health care career possibilities.  Students can earn one science credit toward graduation requirements.
Prerequisite: C or better in Biology I    Credits: 2 1/2

BUSINESS AND COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
This course is designed to educate, train and provide guidance for secondary vocational students who seek to develop knowledge, skills, and behavioral characteristics necessary for successful entry level employment in office occupations.  Students receive instruction in word processing, spreadsheet, database, financial management, web page design, telecommunications, networking, introductory programming, handwriting and speech recognition, accounting, and other related business areas.

METAL TRADES
 This is a program designed for preparation to enter the metal working trades.  Students will learn basic metal working processes; safety; math; blueprints; hand and power tools; bench work; power saws and drilling machines; basic oxyfuel welding and cutting; basic machine shop; and basic sheet metal.
