Subject: senior portraits for IAHS yearbook: this mailing contains important information regarding your child's senior portraits for the yearbook.
It is very important to us to include every senior in the yearbook, and to do this, we need your help making sure your child's portrait gets to us on time. Please contact your portrait photographer, if you haven’t already done so, to make an appointment. We recommend using Aaron Adams at ICON in Fulton so your child's portrait will have an appropriate background for use in our yearbook. We have worked with Aaron a number of years, and he and the staff at ICON know what backgrounds look best for your child’s portrait in the yearbook.
We will need a formal portrait and a casual picture of your choice. We need the portrait (tux for boys and drape for girls) to be an original color digital image (not scanned). We can accept digital images saved on any type media or via email. Your child’s portrait must be delivered to us by Monday, October 31(Halloween). We have deadlines we must meet in order to produce the yearbook. If your child's portraits are made at ICON, they will send us your senior's digital images to us, (one formal portrait and one casual), but you must specify to ICON which images you would like to have sent. If your portraits are made elsewhere, please request that your photographer email the images to us.

Re: Senior Tributes/Ads
Senior year is probably the most memorable time of one's life. Since you have a senior, you have the opportunity to purchase a senior tribute/ad in the yearbook. Each year we are pleased to offer space just for parents and loved ones of seniors so they may congratulate their child/children and wish them well as they begin a new phase of their lives. Space may be purchased in which you can place a favorite photo(s) and write a message of love and support.
A senior tribute is a great way to say, "I love you, and I am proud of you." and it is recorded forever in their yearbooks. It is easy to do - just send us the original photo(s) you would like to use and compose your message. We prefer original digital images; however, if using childhood/baby pictures, this may not be possible. Digital images may be saved on any type media or emailed to tcunningham@itawamba.k12.ms.us.
You can choose from a full page, 3/4 page, 1/2page, 1/3 page, or 1/6 page. There is a size sheet included to help you visualize the space. We can even keep it a secret until the yearbooks come in next spring, and what a wonderful surprise it is for them as they look through their yearbooks and find your message there. Please be sure to note on the enclosed form if the ad should be kept secret.
Due to a limited number of pages designated for senior tributes, space is allotted on a first come basis. The deadline for ad submission is Monday, October 31(Halloween). To reserve your space, simply complete the attached form and return to Attn: Yearbook Itawamba High School, 11900 Highway 25, South, Fulton, MS 38843. Questions should be directed to Tammy Cunningham, Yearbook Advisor at 862-3104.
