Every Friday students get there Spirit on by taking part in the Pep Rallies before football games take place. The Cheerleaders help raise the spirit by leading the students in chants and cheers. Students are always excited for the class yell which involves competition between classes. The class yell is:
We're the best we must confess
Stand and yell for IHS.
For the past two weeks the seniors have won the spirit stick; however, today they were given very close competition. Although the freshman improved, the sophomores pumped up the volume in the upper deck of the gym. The juniors have brought their spirit to both pep rallies and are waiting their first win. The seniors added spirit today with black and gold pompoms.
Congratulations Seniors, but be ready for more competition next week.
