Biography
Sam Farris is the Director of bands at IAHS. He is a graduate of Southaven High School. He then Attended Ole Miss where he completed his bachelors degree in Music Education. He then returned to Ole Miss as a graduate assistant working with the Pride of the South marching band. Mr Farris has served 5 years in the MS Army National guard, performing as a musician with the 41st Army Band. He is the Tubist with the North Mississippi Symphony Orchestra in Tupelo, and the Worship Leader at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Pope MS. He is married to Katie Farris, an English teacher at Senatobia Elementary School. They have a one year old daughter, Ellison.
